In addition, it is possible to conduct a chat individually and in groups, share the screen and save history, take a video recording or transcript of the spoken word.
Another communication tool from Microsoft's workshop is Yammer. It is an internal social network, not just a chat platform. Only employees or co-workers can join this social network, which guarantees a high level of security of the embedded data. Yammer allows you to communicate openly, publish messages “on the wall”, communicate in 28 languages (while translating messages with Google Translator), share conversations, create polls, and create virtual events.
Microsoft, of course, offers the possibility of storing documents in the cloud. Cloud storage for files used by multiple SharePoint users is one of the biggest benefits to teamwork ever. By saving a project to the cloud, the worker makes it available to everyone who collaborates on the project. They can reach it from anywhere, anytime. The whole team can work on one document at the same time without any problems.
Cloud storage keeps all versions of the file in one place. This breaks down the already mentioned search in a flood of emails and finding out “which version of the document is the final one”. When you save a presentation to the cloud, for example, you can instantly collaborate with colleagues around the world, track proposed changes, and respond to feedback. You can add a comment to each version of the document, which will show who the document is intended for and should be loaded with.
Most people think that cloud storage is OneDrive after all... “That's right. Both SharePoint and OneDrive are cloud storage, and each has its meaning. While SharePoint is appreciated by members inside and outside the company for sharing and working together on a single document (by the way, documents shared through MS Teams are also stored in SharePoint), OneDrive is a repository specifically designed for a user's documents primarily intended only for them, unless they share them with a specific collaborator. OneDrive can be used to automatically back up a file or to synchronize folders and files across multiple devices.
