Making the Most of Financial Dimensions

Reporting company results by cost center has been standard practice for many years. In modern ERP systems you can enrich each accounting entry with a whole range of additional information, such as Store, Till, Product Group, Product, Supplier and more. All of this additional information, captured as financial dimensions on the accounting entry, is then used by Management and Finance to track the company's health, and by Sales and Purchasing to analyze data.
