Blue Dynamic to Provide ICT Services for Dutch Retail Chain BCC

Smooth, Secure Operation of a Large-Scale IT Infrastructure and Applications

Blue Dynamic, a Czech provider of comprehensive IT solutions and services, is expanding its services for the Dutch retail chain BCC. The goal of the long-term contract is to ensure the smooth, secure operation of a large-scale IT infrastructure and applications for a company operating in the Dutch consumer electronics market.

We support and maintain more than 500 servers, 1,200 workstations, and dozens of applications.

The new contract, worth several million Czech crowns a year, covers all the processes involved in operating, administering, maintaining, and developing the infrastructure, operating systems, databases, and critical applications. It involves supporting and maintaining more than 500 servers, 1,200 workstations, and dozens of applications across 80 branches of the international client.

"Our job is to make sure the entire system runs reliably, with fast response times, delivering the services and information management needs for decision-making without any outages," said Ivan Holko, Delivery Manager at Blue Dynamic, adding: "This lets us put to use our experience from a whole range of other projects and our long-standing focus on this type of service. We've proven that we can apply our know-how and experience abroad too, and that we can hold our own against strong international competition."

Blue Dynamic won out in a tender contested by five companies, beating global players such as Avanade. This isn't the first contract for the Dutch BCC – the two companies have worked together since 2014. Besides providing IT services, that earlier collaboration also included implementing a new ERP system enabling efficient management of warehousing, sales, marketing, and financial flows.
