Czech company Blue Dynamic introduced its product eMotionwhich will count visitors in the stores and recognise their age, gender and mood. It is a solution built on cloud services and machine learning from Microsoft. The system will constantly adjust and improve its outputs to best predict customer behaviour and composition.

Whether it is a shopping centre and its shops, a bank, a hotel, a trade fair or a stadium, the operator will have detailed marketing data on the visitor structure. Artificial intelligence will evaluate the emotions that the services provided to customers at a given time and place have evoked.
They will also recommend the appropriate size of clothing you liked, as well as assess whether you were satisfied when you paid at the checkout. The retailer will then be able to correct the actions of their salespeople or business processes just in response to typical client emotions.
At the same time, retailers gain an overview of the characteristic customer movement around the store and learn about the most exposed locations. They can then obtain heatmaps corresponding to different periods or ongoing changes to evaluate the changes.
The data can also be used to track conversion in detail, i.e. to determine how the number of people and time spent on a particular product corresponds to its actual sales. And, of course, there is also the possibility to evaluate the presentation of a given product according to the emotions it arouses in people. It will thus be possible to have a constant overview of the current demands of clients.
Machine Learning system will also make it easier to recognize suspicious or non-standard behaviourand therefore, for example, to identify a possible thief. It will then make it easier for the centres to monitor unwanted or VIPs. It will continuously update their summaries and share them between stores, as well as alert them that these exposed people are in the building.
