DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY 

As the app recognises individuals and collects other sensitive data about them, the question logically arises as to how this data is protected against possible misuse and whether such an app is even compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).  

Although the system can distinguish between individuals, it does not allow direct or indirect unique identification of a specific natural person by means of technical processing relating to physical or physiological features or behavioural characteristics of the person. It produces only anonymous, encrypted statistical data which cannot be linked to any specific natural person.
