Diagnostics: project definition

The goal of the diagnostic phase is to help the customer choose a solution that meets their needs and expectations. This phase includes:

  • Analysis of customer needs and requirements
  • Identification of the optimal solution to achieve the objectives
  • Creating a detailed plan for project implementation

Implementation.

The goal of the implementation phase is to deliver a solution that supports the development of the business and delivers defined benefits. This phase includes:

  • Installation and configuration of the necessary systems and tools
  • Development and implementation of required functions and processes
  • Testing and verification of solution functionality
  • User training and support
  • Gradual transition to the new solution and monitoring of its performance

Diagnostics

  • Definition of the project content - areas to be addressed and are subject to delivery and conversely a list of areas that are outside the agreed scope.
  • High level presentation of the future solution at a conceptual level, incorporating business processes, roles, integration with other systems and data migration strategies.
  • Mapping key system requirements and high level analysis to determine how they will be addressed - whether it is a Fit or Gap.
  • Creation of a project plan describing how to implement the solution and calculating project costs.

Analysis

  • List of requirements
  • Presentation of the future solution at a conceptual level, integration of business processes, roles, integration with other systems and data migration strategy.
  • Mapping customer requirements for system functionality, analyzing how each requirement will be covered, and clearly defining each category.
  • Basic setup of the D365 system modules required for the analysis phase of the project.
  • Detailed description and definition of solutions based on business processes and requirements.
  • Training of key users
  • Detailed description of the solution to individual functionality requirements. A description of how the stated business needs for the new system will be met.
  • Budget and implementation plan

Development

  • Developing a complete technical description with all the information needed to set up and develop Gap requirements in the system.
  • Defining test scenarios to verify that the system meets all customer requirements.
  • Customizing the D365
  • Testing the D365
  • Creating training materials for end users so that all users can use the system effectively.

Test

  • Data migration based on agreed analysis.
  • Testing of system functions, integrations and system performance; preparation of a test report
  • Correcting and resolving problems found during the overall testing up to the final test.
  • Approval of the final version of the system ready for the next phase of the project - deployment.

 

Deployment

  • Deployment of the production version of the system; verification of the correct installation and implementation of all processes.
  • Completion and execution of the final data migration in accordance with the migration protocol.
  • Preparation of detailed documentation for the transition from the old to the new information system.
  • Commissioning of the new system.

 

Operation

  • Providing the intensive support required after the system is live and troubleshooting at the customer's site.
  • Providing ongoing support for system operations, including troubleshooting and development of new features.
